All Tuscany Balloon Rides begin in the early morning or just before sunset, when the winds are calm and flying conditions are just right.  An average flight lasts about one hour, depending on the speed and directions of the winds.  Although the winds do dictate the directions of the balloon, your English-speaking pilot will be an expert in gaining or losing altitude to control speed.
