All about the Full-Day Ferrari Driving Tour from Florence.

Full-Day Ferrari Driving Tour from Florence

Experience the Tuscan countryside from a completely different perspective: behind the wheel of your own Ferrari.

This private full-day experience is designed for travellers who want to enjoy the performance of an iconic Italian sports car while discovering some of the most scenic roads surrounding Florence.

You will drive your selected Ferrari throughout the journey, following a professional TuscanTeam tour leader in a leading pace car. The route is planned in advance to combine enjoyable driving roads with carefully selected stops, avoiding unnecessary complications with navigation, parking and restricted traffic areas.

Before departure, you will receive a briefing covering the Ferrari, driving procedures and the itinerary for the day. Once on the road, the pace car leads the route while you remain behind the wheel of your Ferrari.

Depending on the itinerary selected, your journey can take you through the vineyards and hill towns of Chianti Classico, toward San Gimignano, through the landscapes surrounding Montalcino and Val d’Orcia, or across the Apennines toward Maranello.

A Fully Planned Private Ferrari Experience

The experience is designed as a key-in-hand driving day.

Ferrari rental, the planned route, professional pace car, fuel, parking, tolls and lunch are included according to the selected itinerary. TuscanTeam coordinates the timing and logistics throughout the day, allowing you to concentrate on the driving experience.

This is a private driving experience, organized exclusively around your booking rather than a fixed group departure. Each Ferrari accommodates two guests. Depending on the rental conditions, two registered drivers may be able to alternate behind the wheel during the journey.

Different Ferrari models are available according to the selected route and vehicle availability. Discover more about our Ferrari Experiences in Tuscany.

Driving, Tuscany and Time to Enjoy the Journey

A Ferrari tour should not be about covering the greatest possible number of kilometres. Our itineraries are designed to balance driving time, scenery and stops along the way.

A countryside lunch becomes a natural break in the driving day. A medieval town provides time away from the car. Longer routes offer more time behind the wheel for guests who want driving to be the main focus of the experience.

This balance is what transforms a Ferrari rental into a complete Ferrari driving experience from Florence. Planning your first Ferrari journey in Tuscany? Read our Ferrari Driving Tour in Tuscany: The Complete Guide.

Do I drive the Ferrari myself or am I a passenger?

Yes. You drive the Ferrari yourself. This is a private self-drive Ferrari experience. You follow a professional TuscanTeam tour leader in a leading pace car along a carefully planned route throughout the day.

How long does the full-day Ferrari tour from Florence last?

The experience typically lasts 8–10 hours, depending on the selected itinerary, driving distance and scheduled stops.

Departure is generally in the morning, with return to Florence in the late afternoon or early evening.

What is included in the tour price?

The experience includes the Ferrari rental (you drive), professional TuscanTeam tour leader and pace car, pre-planned driving route, included mileage, fuel, parking fees and road tolls, lunch, assistance throughout the experience, VAT and applicable taxes.

Specific inclusions may vary according to the selected itinerary.

How many people can travel in one Ferrari?

Most Ferrari models offered for this experience accommodate 2 guests.

If travelling with a child, please contact TuscanTeam before booking so that we can confirm the most appropriate vehicle and arrangements.

Can I choose the Ferrari model?

Yes. You can select your preferred Ferrari model when booking, subject to availability and the selected itinerary.

Available models and corresponding prices are shown in the booking options on this page.

What is the insurance deductible and how does it work?

An insurance deductible (excess) applies to the Ferrari rental and varies according to the selected model, typically ranging from €10,000 to €20,000.

The deductible is not automatically charged. A credit card pre-authorization is required as a financial guarantee, and the deductible may become payable in accordance with the rental conditions in the event of damage.

When do I need to provide the credit card guarantee?

The required credit card pre-authorization should be completed 3–4 working days before the driving experience.

Completing the authorization in advance helps avoid last-minute delays caused by card limits, security controls or bank authorization procedures.

What happens if the credit card pre-authorization cannot be completed?

The required credit card guarantee is a condition of the Ferrari rental.

If the pre-authorization cannot be successfully completed, the Ferrari may not be released and the driving experience may therefore be cancelled.

For this reason, we strongly recommend completing the authorization 3–4 working days before the tour and informing your card issuer in advance if necessary.
